FAQ

Licensing questions

What can I do for free?

Use, modify, integrate, and redistribute the code for personal, academic, educational, research, development, test, evaluation, and other non-commercial work.

When do I need a commercial licence?

When a library is part of a paid product, a production SaaS, a paid client mandate, or otherwise generates direct or indirect revenue.

Does a commercial licence change the code?

No. The code is the same. The licence clarifies what you are permitted to do with it.

What happens if we grow past our tier?

Nothing mid-year. Choose the tier that matches your new size at renewal; there is no retroactive charge or penalty.
